Our focus is a text: “Eight Step Recovery Using the Buddha’s Teachings to Overcome Addiction” alongside other Buddhist recovery books.

Meetings will be peer led.

Spring into Action - A Working Day Retreat (May Bank Holiday)

You are warmly invited to join Caroline, Dharmaprabha, Lottie and Santva in mindful, open-hearted, companionable practice in the shrine room and throughout our centre, making it clean and beautiful.

We will enter Ratnasambhava’s realm of abundance and creativity, working skilfully with our hearts, minds and bodies.

  • 12 August: Dhammagita will focus on the development of awareness through the body. She draws on art, drama and bodywork and a firm belief that depth and fun can co-exist

    Buddha Day Festival

    We are delighted to have Parami as our guest. Parami is an inspiring woman, ordained 40 years ago and is an International Order Convenor in Triratna. She will give a talk at 14.00 and lead our festive puja.

    Are you between 18 and 35 years old and interested in Buddhism?

    Are you tired of the stories that dominate our personal and public lives? Do you have a sense that there must be something else, but don’t yet know what it is?

    Wake up! is a new practice morning for young people at the North London Buddhist Centre.

    With discussion, exploration and meditation, plus coffee and croissants, we will connect with what is meaningful and ask what Buddhism can offer us to transform ourselves and the world.
