Reflexology with Reiki

Reflexology is a modern interpretation of an ancient healing art. Using pressure on specific areas of the feet a Reflexologist can ease tension in your whole body. This happens because organs and the systems of your body are reflected in the extremities of your body - your head/face, ears, hands and feet, the whole body being interconnected. Most Reflexologists use the feet for a number of reasons, for instance they are generally more sensitive and there is more surface area. So, through gentle manipulation and massage a Reflexologist can sense which parts of your body need to relax and which areas need stimulating. Some parts of the feet, depending upon your health, can be more sensitive than others and though sometimes you may feel areas of tension during the treatment, virtually everyone finds them a deeply relaxing and often blissful experience.

It is believed that Reflexology can have a valuable effect on a wide variety of illnesses; please feel free to ask if you have a particular ailment or situation. For example, many women find treatments during pregnancy very beneficial. So healthy people too will find Reflexology extremely beneficial as it restores the body to its natural balance & is a good aid to detox your system. It is a beneficial boost to the immune system and so works well as a prevention against disease. The treatments I offer enable you to relax & rejuvenate as I soothe your stresses away, so energising you to feel more at ease and revitalised.

I am a qualified Reflexology practitioner, accredited by the Association of Reflexologists, with Level II Reiki (an energy balancing therapy), which I am happy to offer within each treatment at no extra charge!

Aqua Detox

Aqua Detox is a contemporary way to detox your body without any effort! Simply place your feet in a specialised foot spa allowing an alternating positive & negative charge to pass through a mildly saline solution. This encourages your body to release toxins through the 2,ooo pores in the soles of your feet, into the water. At the end of this I offer a brief massage of some major Reflexology areas, such as your spine and chakra regions, your head, neck and shoulders and solar plexus, or whatever seems most appropriate for you.

As a bonus...

I hand blend my on foot balm using only natural ingredients of oils, beeswax, mineral salts, herb tinctures of comfrey, marshmallow and calendula, essential oils and Bach flower essences. Many of these ingredients are organic, depending on availability. I am always happy to offer this as an alternative to talcum powder, though please know that I ask for £1 to cover the cost of these wonderful ingredients. Jars of my Luxury Foot Balm and Eye Pillows filled with organic linseed and lavender (which I recommend you try during the treatment) are available upon request and make a great gift by themselves or with a gift voucher for someone special.
