Room hire - meeting rooms & treatment rooms
The North London Buddhist Centre has two beautiful rooms for hire to groups and organisations whose ethos is broadly in line with our Buddhist values . These spaces are particularly suitable for community groups, voluntary groups, charities, other spiritual groups, complementary health and bodywork activities. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
We also have two smaller rooms available for ongoing hire only. One is suitable for body-based treatments such as massage therapy, and the other for psychotherapy/counselling sessions or other regular 1:1 meetings.
Conditions of use
The Buddhist Centre is a smoke, meat and fish and alcohol free zone.
There are shared areas for tea breaks; we ask users to wash up and leave the kitchen clean.
Please do not use mobile phones in public areas, or in our meditation shrine rooms.
Activities should not compete with NLBC programmed events.
No initiations or empowerments.
We are sensitive to our name being used to seem to endorse events we are not promoting. Please bear this in mind when advertising your event if you are using us as your venue.

Ground Floor Room
25m2 in size, suitable for meetings and groups of up to 15-20 people. Meditation mats, cushions, yoga gear, chairs and flip chart are available on request.
Available varies.
Rates start at £49 for minimum 2 hour hire.
Weekends: half day £94; full day £180: full weekend £345.
Charity rates available.Contact the Centre Office to arrange a visit.
Bodywork Studio
The studio size is 48.5m2 (5.4m x 9m), suitable for meetings of up to 20 to 22 people for training involving bodywork, or 20 to 40 for workshops and conferences.
Fully equipped for yoga classes. Equipment use is included in the hire.
Availability is limited to times when our own classes are not running.
Weekday daytime £40 per hour, Weekend half day rate £160; full day £304.

Lotus Room:
Treatment Table
Size: 5m2 (2.55m x 1.95m)
£30.33 per calendar month for a one hour daytime slot (slightly more at peak times)
We offer a monthly agreement to hire a regular slot of at least an hour a week; changes to this agreement can be made with one month’s notice either way.
Additional ad hoc bookings are available at other times to therapists with a regular booking subject to room availability.
Jasmine Room:
Consulting Room (suitable for one-to-one meetings)
Size: 5m2 (2.35m x 2.20m).
£30.33 per calendar month for a one hour daytime slot (slightly more at peak times)
We offer a monthly agreement to hire a regular slot of at least an hour a week; changes to this agreement can be made with one month’s notice either way.
Additional ad hoc bookings are available at other times to therapists with a regular booking subject to room availability.
