  • Alaric Newcombe

    Iyengar Yoga

    Alaric has been practicing Iyengar yoga since 1983 and teaching it since 1991. He is a Level 3 Iyengar Yoga teacher.

    Alaric’s teaching is lively, insightful and playful. His long teaching experience enables him to give precise individual adjustments while maintaining good group momentum.


  • Aubrey Maasdrop

    Iyengar Yoga

    Aubrey has been practising yoga for more than 25 years and teaching since 2002. He is a Junior Intermediate Level 3 Iyengar yoga teacher and is a member of the teaching committee at the Iyengar Institute in London. He is known for his clear and vibrant teaching style, coupled with a good sense of humour.

  • Heike Clarke

    Qi Gong (Chi Kung)

    Heike has been a Chi Kung teacher since 2011. She teaches Elemental Qi Gong (Chi Kung) working with the cycle of the five elements: earth, fire, metal, water and wood.

    Her intention is to pass on this healing art to as many people as possible and help them be more present, grounded and relaxed.

    Iyengar Yoga

    Helen has been practising yoga for over 30 years and teaching Iyengar Yoga for over 15 years. She teaches in a clear progressive manner with kindness and consideration. Her classes are sequenced to include a range of postures and relaxation to enable a balanced experience and practice.

  • Liz Rigby

    Iyengar Yoga

    Liz has been teaching yoga since 2005 and practising for over 40.. She is a Junior Level 3 Intermediate Iyengar Teacher.

    Liz : I have found that yoga helps with every aspect of a person's life....In my classes I try to keep students focused in their bodies , so that they can experience the peace this brings. We work towards understanding the different postures so as to fully experience the benefits of each pose and restore the body's vitality

    Iyengar Yoga

    Louise has been practicing Iyengar yoga since 1995 and teaching since 2009. Louise endeavours to deliver instructions with clarity and then keenly observes her students to check for understanding.

    She aims to take great care with individual students to help yoga work for them. She continues to study with senior teachers in both the UK and the mother institute in Pune.

  • Lucy Morris

    Monthly Restorative Yoga workshop

    Lucy’s love of yoga began when she first attended classes at her local Buddhist centre in Edinburgh while at university. She has been practising yoga for 25 years and teaching since 2003.

    Lucy: “I am an experienced, confident and intelligent teacher. I love to learn and convey my joy in learning to my students.”

  • Maitripushpa Bois

    Yin Yoga online

    Maitripushpa has been practising yoga for over 20 years, and teaching for 15. Her Yin Yoga classes manage to be both deeply relaxing, grounding and playful, as she creates a space for exploration and discovery.

    Maitripushpa teaches with warmth and humour and great individual care and attention.

  • Richard Thomas

    Qi Gong

    Richard qualified as a Qigong teacher through the College of Elemental Chi Kung and also completed the 'Advanced' and 'Refinement' aspects of their four-year course. He is registered as a teacher of Yang-style Taijiquan with the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain.

    Richard has a keen interest in Daoist philosophy and the Yijing (or I Ching). He is a qualified shiatsu practitioner

  • Shiara Uchino

    Iyengar Yoga

    Originally from Japan, Shiara has been practising yoga for over 20 years and is a Level 1 Iyengar Yoga Teacher. Her yoga journey started when she signed up to do the pregnancy yoga.

    The precision and the detailed approach and understanding of each posture in Iyengar yoga struck a cord with her, not just to to keep her physical well-being in check but also to calm and be grounded and strike the right work/life balance.

    Shiara brings a calmness and serenity to her teaching.

    Saturdays - Wake Up & Flow

    Shirley has taught yoga for more than 25 years in three different countries. She considers yoga a moving meditation so infuses her classes with a balance of humour, discipline and compassion.

    The atmosphere is lighthearted and easy-going, but at the same time her instruction is detailed and precise to inspire students to discover their own inner teacher: the heart-mind.

    Hatha Yoga

    Tony has been practising yoga for 24 years and teaching since 2008. He has studied with teachers from both India and the West and is British Wheel of Yoga Trained.

    Tony is much appreciated for his relaxed, patient and encouraging approach. His classes are well structured but fun, and with an emphasis on a safe approach to the postures.

    Valentina, a dedicated yoga practitioner immersed in yoga philosophy and mysticism, found love at first sight with the Iyengar yoga method. Its disciplined and structured approach led her to reshape every aspect of her life. Valentina's classes are both explorative and energetic, characterised by precise instructions that create a fun, focused, and welcoming environment. Her ultimate aim is to inspire students to enhance their wellness and attain inner balance. Having trained under senior teachers, Valentina continues her studies and regularly participates in workshops and specialised trainings.
