Creative Vinyasa Flow

Gentle to moderately-paced session that builds up to a fluid flow style. Students move through a creative and imaginative sequence of postures, interspersed with strength-building and sometimes challenging holds. The class winds down with an indulgent 10-minute guided relaxation and savasana.

Hatha Yoga

A deep and careful yoga designed to extend the spine and strengthen the body. There is a specific focus on long-term spinal health and undo-ing the damage caused by sitting for hours a time.
Movements are slow and precise; influenced by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli, John Stirk, Anna Ashby and Catherine Annis. The class is un-hurried and not predicated on gymnastic ability.

The Thursday class is particularly relaxed and may include one or two long restorative postures and some meditation.

Fun And Flow Vinyasa

Looking for a creative, playful yoga class to get energized? This is an upbeat, smooth flowing practice that includes plenty of stretching and some strengthening and balance poses. Whilst the class is geared towards a moderate level, there are alignment cues and modifications, so you're welcome to make the class as gentle or challenging as you like. EARTH - an elemental Qi Gong workshop (Sept)

In the Five Elements system Earth is the centre. In the cycle of the seasons it is often associated with Late Summer but is also seen as an important "buffer" between the seasons. In the body it is manifested as the Spleen and Stomach organs and it provides our sense of ease.

WATER - an elemental Qigong workshop (Dec)

Water is our deep potential to develop and change. It is essential to life, and in a very real sense we are water.
When the Water Element is healthy it can affect the whole balance of yin and yang forces in the body and bring about deep vitality. Water is fluidity and flow, and these aspects, as well as its connection with the Kidney and Bladder organs and meridians, will be explored in both moving and static forms.
These forms will include some inspired by the Bear, the animal associated with Water in the Five Elements system.
