I'll Meet You There - exploring empathy and communication with Shantigarbha.

Shantigarbha will introduce his book I'll Meet You There: a practical guide to empathy, mindfulness and communication and show how we connect with each other in the space that opens up when we let go of our ideas of good and bad, right and wrong. To empathise with others, we need to learn how to empathise with ourselves, so that when we reach out, we do so from the inside out.
The evening will include a guided reflection from the book, stories embodying empathy from the life of the Buddha and practical exercises to help develop listening skills.
Shantigarbha is a certified Nonviolent Communication trainer.

The Courage to Teach

Inviting all teaching Order Members to meet each other and share inspiration and experience.

Sharing the Dharma with others provides a great source of inspiration for us, and can also be a crucible. This crucible is a rich working ground that challenges us to look more closely at ourselves, our own practice and understanding of the Buddha's teachings, how to communicate them clearly and how to connect deeply with others in our mutual exploration of awakening.

Join us as we gather as Order members who are teaching to re-connect with ourselves, our Dharma practice, our spiritual friendships with one another and our teaching.

Five further gatherings, building on the first, will be offered over the next 12 months.

Please bring lunch to share Dana contributions will be welcome
