Tuesday Evening Meditation and Buddhism Class

Open to beginners and regulars.

This evening, as part of the usual Tuesday evening class, we will continue to offer meditation and also celebrate the recent ordination of Supaksini (ex-Rebecca Glyn-Jones).

Her public ceremony was held on Friday 13th September 2024 in the context of a retreat at Akashavana Retreat Centre in Spain. Ordination into the Triratna Buddhist Order signifies the point of committing your entire life to the Buddhist path for the sake of all beings. It is a hugely significant event for those who undertake it.

As part of the evening we will meditate, have cake, hear from Supaksini about her experience and have a welcome back ceremony ritual.

All welcome. Free, by donation. (Usually the Tuesday class has a £12/£5 charge but for this special event it will be by donation).
