ONLINE: Saturday Meditation & Buddhism Keynote Talk by Ratnaprabha “Perfections for the Imperfect”

Saturday 15th January 10:30 - 12:30
Suitable for Newcomers / Intermediates / Regulars
Start your weekend in a positive way with our friendly Saturday morning class, suitable for all. The first hour is meditation teaching and practice. Then at 11:30 we continue with an exploration of Buddhist teachings.

Our theme on Saturdays for the first half of 2022 is “Crossing the flood: the six perfections.”
The bodhisattva represents "one of the sublimest spiritual ideals that mankind has ever seen", an ideal Buddhist working tirelessly for the benefit of all. But in ordinary life, how does one balance one's own spiritual needs with one's need to respond to the needs of others? These talks will cover the six bodhisattva perfections, a path that reveals and crafts giving, ethics, forbearance, energy, meditation and wisdom.
January 15th’s Keynote Talk: “Perfections for the imperfect: introducing the whole bodhisattva path” by Ratnaprabha (Centre Chair)

Recordings of past talks can be found on our North London Buddhist Centre YouTube channel here.
