The three Lakshanas

10 June, impermanence.

8 July, unsatisfactoriness.

12  August, no self/insubstantiality. | special guest Akshayapradipa

The Buddha's teachings on insubstantiality (or no-self) are probably the most misunderstood part of Buddhism. How can we approach the fact that we don't have a fixed self in a way that has 'the taste of freedom', and brings us closer to freedom? This talk is part of a series on the three marks of conditioned existence - unsatisfactoriness, insubstantiality and impermanence.

Start your weekend in a positive way with our friendly Saturday morning class, suitable for all. The first hour is meditation teaching and practice. Then at 11:30 we continue with an exploration of Buddhist teachings, with a special keynote talk on the second Saturday of each month.

ONLINE PARTICIPANTS:- Please pay what you can for the class to help support the centre
