People of Colour Day Retreat | Led by Nandaraja & Guhyasakhi

Ksanti, patient forbearance, is to patiently and tolerantly bear witness to hardships and difficulties—but not passively. It arises in us through practice.

It is one of the six qualities of the arising of the Bodhicitta, the awakened heart and mind. Ksanti enables us to understand something profound about human beings and how to love them. Patience can be fierce; it sees the light in others when they cannot.

It holds, with an open heart, the transgressions of those around us and it asks us to turn towards the difficulty, the pain and use it like rocket fuel for awakening. This day retreat led by Nandaraja and Guhyasakhi focuses on practical strategies to develop and sustain Ksanti. It will include meditation, talks, groups and a lovely bring-and-share vegan lunch.

Open to all people of colour, by donation (suggested £20)
