The Sangha is the Buddhist term for the community of people wishing to learn from the Buddha's teachings. Lalitaraja, Santva, Manjumitra, Khemananda and guest Order Members take turns to lead these evenings, practising and communicating Buddhism. A Sangha evening might include a talk, meditation, discussion, workshop, devotional practice. Open to all (though it is helpful if you have had an introduction to the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana meditation practices).
Mon 30 Nov - “Radiate Love” led by Anandavajra, our new Men’s Mitra Convenor
We are delighted to welcome Anandavajra, our new NLBC Men's Mitra Convenor to lead tonight's Sangha Night, which follows our Sangha Day Festival on 29 November.
Dhardo Rimpoche was considered by our founder, Bhante Sangharakshita, to be a living Bodhisattva. We will be exploring ‘Radiate Love’ - the third part of his great motto - and discovering what we can learn from the example of his remarkable life. The evening will include meditation, a short talk and opportunity for discussion in groups.
With Anandavajra and the Sangha Night Team. All welcome.
