BACK IN TOUCH: Exploring the positive flipside of the Covid ‘hands, face, space’ mantra.

Led by Dhammagita

Does the thought of no more social distancing and having more & closer contact with others fill you with delight or dread? Or maybe a bit of both? However you feel about it, this is an afternoon to help ease us back into the natural world of physical touch and closeness with our fellow humans that covid deprived us of for so long, and may even have conditioned us to prefer it’s separations.

Working in a very direct, physical way with our bodies & breath, in movement and stillness, we will gradually shed the various layers of protection we’ve got used to, and come fully back in touch with each other.

*** PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING 3 THINGS ABOUT TODAY’S SESSION BEFORE BOOKING ***

(1) This is a physically active afternoon, with more movement than sitting, so if you are physically or energetically limited,  please check with Dhammagita or the Centre Team before booking

(2) The session will include physical closeness and contact, including skin-to-skin touch. It is important that you feel able & willing to participate fully, so if you are particularly Covid-vulnerable this may not be for you. *** (However, if it’s simply anxiety that’s stopping you – it’s very much for you!)

(3) To attend we are asking everyone to do a NHS lateral flow test that day before arrival (home tests free online or from any chemist). Please only attend if your test result is negative for Covid. Any questions, please check with Karunagita or the Centre Team.

Please note, there will be NO ONLINE OPTION for this event. Booking essential as numbers are limited.
This event is offered in the spirit of generosity in that our teachers give their time for free. Please consider joining with that spirit and donating to help us keep our Centre afloat through these difficult times. Suggested donation £10. Please donate here and use reference ‘Women’s Class’.
