OPEN HOUSE - An open afternoon at the North London Buddhist Centre

This year, the North London Buddhist Centre is taking part in the London-wide ‘Open House’ festival. Do you have and friends & family who are curious to learn what we are doing? This is a great opportunity to bring them along for an afternoon of building tours, talks, meditation taster sessions, a Buddhist art exhibition, or to pop in for a cuppa and chat! 



PROGRAMME:

13:15 - 13:45 Tour of the building: How do you make an ordinary space sacred? Learn about the building and its transformation into a space for Buddhist practice and community.

14:00 - 14:30 Meditation taster session: A chance to try out meditation with one of our teachers- no prior experience needed, just come along.

14:45 - 15:15 Talk: Dr Ambedkar and his connection to North London: Indian social reformer Dr Ambedkar did once live in North London - today the Karuna Trust seeks to continue his vision to end inequality. 

15:30 - 16:00 Meditation taster session: A chance to try out meditation with one of our teachers- no prior experience needed, just come along.
