Please meet by the footbridge over the railway, opposite Park Studios i.e. the very beginning of the Parkland walk (Oxford Rd, Finsbury Park, London N4 3EY). Shakyasiddhi would like to start the walk promptly so please be there by 14:30. Contact Shakyasiddhi (shakyan@gmail.com) if you have any questions about the walk or if you can't find us.
Open to all, though due to the reflective nature of the walk we'd ask that you don’t bring children along.

Come and join Shakyasiddhi for the traditional Buddhist practice of walking with awareness in natural surroundings; connecting with our relationship to the land, to each other, and to the changing of the seasons.
We'll start at Finsbury Park at 2.30pm and walk the Parkland Walk to Queen's Wood in Muswell Hill, and back again. We will probably have a short period of meditation and ritual while at Queen's Wood, weather and space permitting. So the whole event will be around two and a half to three hours.
Please bring suitable footwear, snacks, water, something to sit on, and be prepared for the British weather! The walk is around 45 minutes to an hour one way, with some steep climbs at the Muswell Hill end.

Shakyasiddhi has been ordained since the late 1990's and for the last few years has been exploring ways in which the natural world can inform our Buddhist practice, and what can happen when we take our practice outside into nature.
