Exploring Going for Refuge | with Darsavini and Shraddhasara

5 Wednesday evenings (over 6 weeks)
1st November - 6th December with a break on Nov 22nd.

This 5-week discussion and study group is for women+ at the NLBC who have been coming to the Centre regularly for at least 6 months, and are wanting to explore next steps in their practice. You may be wondering about the foundation year of the Mitra Study course, or thinking of asking to become a Mitra, or just wondering how to take things a bit further.

We'll be unpacking the phrase "Going for Refuge to the Three Jewels"  - familiar to Buddhists the world over - using a mix of short presentations, group and pair discussion, and optional audio recordings you can listen to during the week.

It's a chance to connect with other people at a similar sort of stage in a small group, explore an aspect of the Dharma a little more closely, as well as have some time to reflect and discuss your own practice. We'll make some time for any questions about the foundation year and what it means to become a Mitra.

The course is by donation; to book, please email darsavini.nlbc@gmail.com.

This group is offered on a donation basis. We recommend £60 / £50, but please feel free to give more, less, or nothing at all!
