This course is not suitable for people with acute symptoms or who currently find it difficult to regulate emotions.

This Mindful Compassion – Somatic Body - Mind Awareness Course is for people who suffer from anxiety, stress, overwhelm, underwhelmed, trauma, and low mood. We will discuss, understand, and integrate neuroscience knowledge, compassionate mind wisdom, body-mind & breath practices, mindful strategies for building resilience and adaptability in the face of uncertainty, and the importance of maintaining a strong and stable mindset for embracing change as an opportunity for growth.

This course is designed for individuals dealing with anxiety, stress, trauma, low mood, overwhelm, or underwhelm. It integrates neuroscience, body-mind awareness, and compassionate mind wisdom to help individuals build resilience and adaptability in the face of uncertainty. Participants will learn about the mammalian part of the brain, which is essential for feeling safe and secure, as well as for emotional regulation and self-soothing. The course will cover the Vagus Nerve, the threat-fear system, and somatic body-mind awareness to provide practical techniques for managing difficult mental states and experiences.

Participants will acquire skills in mindful compassion and somatic body-mind awareness, as well as knowledge to activate natural endorphins and achieve deep relaxation. By engaging with compassionate mind training, individuals can access the benefits of natural endorphins to ease muscle tension, alleviate pain, and calm the nervous system. These core strategies are crucial for navigating trauma, stress, and anxiety release, and for fostering cooperation with oneself and others. The course will also provide evidence-based trauma-informed body, mind, breath, mindfulness, and physical skills to help individuals self-regulate and self-soothe.

The course emphasizes the importance of understanding our feeling body experience, in addition to our thinking mind, and encourages individuals to tap into their body's natural healing intelligence. By gently releasing symptoms, participants can achieve a sense of calm and inner peace. The course will teach participants mindful compassion skills, polyvagal theory, and gut ecology to help them be present, stable, and at ease with themselves and others. Ultimately, this course will lead participants toward greater self-awareness, stability, and emotional resilience.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how their symptoms impact them mentally, physically, and emotionally/somatically. Through direct experience, they will learn how to effectively manage these symptoms and gain greater control over their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. The course will provide practical skills, knowledge, and mindful compassion meditations, as well as the latest neuroscience psychology, with weekly PDFs and audio practices for integration.

N.B. We will only share information on our direct experience of the skills/tools knowledge and practices from the mindful compassion somatic practices and application to your daily life.
