ONLINE: Sangha Night - Dedication to the Three Jewels of Buddhism

The Sangha is the Buddhist term for the community of people wishing to learn from the Buddha's teachings. Lalitaraja, Santva, Manjumitra, Khemananda and guest Order Members take turns to lead these evenings, practising and communicating Buddhism. A Sangha evening might include a talk, meditation, discussion, workshop, devotional practice. Open to all (though it is helpful if you have had an introduction to the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana meditation practices).

Monday 10th of January: Dedication to the Three Jewels of Buddhism
Tonight we celebrate our first Sangha Night of 2022 by reciting the Dedication Ceremony, which includes the lines:

'May our mind become Buddha

May our thought become Dharma

May our communication with one another be Sangha'

We'll explore the protected mandala evoked by the words of the ceremony and the transformational potential of stepping into that space. There will be meditation, a short talk and discussion.

With Santva, Lalitaraja and the Sangha Night Team.
