A Sangha evening might include a talk, meditation, discussion, workshop, devotional practice. Open to all (though it is helpful if you have had an introduction to the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana meditation practices).

Mon 22 March: Celebrating Spring Equinox (Ostara) with the figure of Tara
The Spring Equinox was celebrated as Ostara in pagan times. There are associations with the rebirth of the year and with fertility. It is a time of preparation for farmers and a tradition of bringing their seeds for to be blessed. Tonight Lalitaraja will lead an honouring of the equinox with meditation and a Puja to Tara. Do bring seeds - actual or conceptual - to be blessed as part of the Puja. The word blessing comes from the Old English blǣdsian meaning to make sacred, so we'll bring our 'seeds', whether they are flowers for the garden or intentions for our life, to make them sacred so that as they take root and grow into our life they do so with our best intentions.
