ONLINE: Day retreat - 4 ways to respond: from de-escalation to insight (Sun 7 June)

In this practical, grounded day retreat, Karunagita will introduce four ways in which we can respond to any experience as it arises, from a Buddhist perspective, touching on ethics, Metta and setting up the conditions for Insight. The day will include guidance in Just Sitting/ formless meditation and an emphasis on somatic/ direct body experience. Starting at 10.00 and ending at 5.00, there will be around 4.5 hours on zoom plus suggested mindful activities and inquiry to maintain the retreat throughout the day and beyond. Suitable for people with some experience of meditation.

This day is offered in the spirit of generosity in that Karunagita has kindly given her time for free. Please consider joining with that spirit and donating for the day to help us keep our Centre afloat during these difficult times. Suggested donation £30. Please donate here

In this workshop he will be exploring how to engage more creatively and contructively with different dimensions of mindfulness within meditation.
