Safe and Sound: Creating collective learning spaces of radical authenticity and deep transformation’ - a teaching workshop with Singhashri

As a global Buddhist movement, Triratna has been engaged at multiple levels in an exploration of how to support more diversity and inclusivity at our centres. At the heart of this exploration is the question of how we co-create psychological and emotional safety for the diversity of people attending our classes, courses and events. One strategy that can help is the use of community agreements, explicitly stated ways of relating to ourselves and each other that support authentic communication and participation. We’ll also touch upon the liberating potential of a trauma-informed approach to dharma and meditation teaching.

For Order members and Mitras who are Training for Ordination (TFO) and who are either already teaching or interested in starting to teach.
