Join Ratnaprabha and team for our third keynote autumn talk on aspects of Buddhism. We will start with meditation teaching and practice suitable for all, followed by a talk and workshop from our very special guest speaker, Maitrinita.
This is the third talk on our autumn programme theme - ‘Solidarity with Self & World’ - and is entitled ‘Skull and Flowers: a Workshop Exploring Impermanence and Death”
“Life asked death why do people love me and hate you?
Death replied because you are a beautiful lie and I am a painful truth”
This continues our series on the Tibetan teaching of the Four Reminders with the sobering theme of death and impermanence, the importance of which is a cornerstone of Buddhist teaching and the road to freedom. We are thrilled to have Maitrinita visiting us to offer this event. Please have paper and pen handy.
