Mon 10th May: Art as Practice with Visuddhimati
We're delighted to welcome Visuddhimati who will lead tonight's Sangha Night, supported by the Sangha Night Team. Viśuddhimati writes: “My art practice emerged out of my meditation and has been a significant aspect of my spiritual journey. Through making art I’ve explored perception and how I experience the world, how places and people speak to me. Within this is also a response to the rich inner world of the imagination seen through the mind’s eye and informed by Dharma practice. I’ll share images where art and Dharma intersect and merge, images which have punctuated, inspired and informed my spiritual journey plus other work painted to commission or just for fun.” The evening will include a short meditation and an opportunity for questions.
