OPEN DAY - An open afternoon at the North London Buddhist Centre

This year, the North London Buddhist Centre is taking part in the London-wide ‘Open House’ festival. Throughout the year we've got thousands of visitors joining our activities to support wellbeing and happiness - these include Buddhism and meditation, but also many other activities like bodywork, secular mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), drumming, music & poetry evenings.


PROGRAMME:

13:15 - 13:45 Tour of the building: How do you make an ordinary space sacred? Learn about the building and its transformation into a space for Buddhist practice and community.

14:00 - 14:30 Meditation taster session: A chance to try out meditation with one of our teachers- no prior experience needed, just come along.

14:45 - 15:15 Talk: Dr Ambedkar and his connection to North London
