Padmasambhava Day Festival

Padmasambhava Day Festival

Padmasambhava, 'The Lotus Born', at last managed to establish Buddhism in Tibet, in about 780, after years of setbacks. He was persuaded to come to Tibet from his semi-mythical home of Oddiyana in order to tame the suspicious local deities and demons.  So he represents the transformation of energy, and is a uniter of antagonistic forces, within one's psyche as well as in the world. Every year we celebrate his festival, all are welcome to attend from 11:15 in the morning.
