Suitable for Newcomers / Intermediates / Regulars
Usually the Saturday class has a set price of £12/£5conc, but to celebrate 57 years of Triranta we’re making the Saturday class free of charge this week (with the invitation to please make a donation).
Start your weekend in a positive way with our friendly Saturday morning class, suitable for all with a special keynote talk on the second Saturday of each month. On Saturday 6th April the class will be a bit different as we mark Triratna Day.
Fifty seven years ago Triratna started with a dedication ceremony in a tiny basement below a shop on Monmouth Street (near Covent Garden). Join us for a panel discussion with Ratnaprabha, Vajramitra, Prajnadevi and Ksantikara, exploring what it has looked like for each of them to dedicate their life in London to the Dharma. After a tea break we’ll then meditate together and perform a dedication ceremony ritual (including Mitra rededication ceremonies).
After the Saturday class stick around for a celebratory shared lunch followed by an informal group pilgrimage walk to Monmouth street (where it all began!) - click here for more information.
Please donate by clicking here and using the reference ‘Festival Day’. Suggested donation £12.
