IN-PERSON: Exploring Going for Refuge | Led by Darsavini and Shraddhasara

Exploring Going for Refuge

4 Wednesday evenings June 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd 7- 9pm at the NLBC, with Darsavini (the womens' mitra convenor) and Shraddhasara

For women (gender diver friendly) - Suitable for Intermediates & Regulars - women who have had some experience of meditation and Buddhism.

This group is for women regulars (gender diverse people are welcome) who are looking at next steps for their practice, maybe considering the Foundation Year and/or becoming a mitra. (If you are wondering but not sure, that's fine!). It is a chance to connect with a few other women at a similar stage in a small group over 4 evenings.

We will unpack the Going for Refuge verse in the 7-fold puja, looking at what it means to "go for refuge" in a Buddhist context - something that is central to Buddhism the world over, and should give us lots of interesting ways into discussion. We'll use a mixture of discussion and reflection. Each week there will be a talk to listen to in preparation for the group. There should be time to get to know the other women in the group as well as plenty of time to reflect and discuss your own practice and the best next steps for you.

Any questions, email Darsavini at darsavini.nlbc@gmail.com

This event is offered in the spirit of generosity, so please donate if you can. Suggested donation £30.
