Nearly 2,600 years ago, a man called Siddhartha  Gotama sat under a bodhi tree until he realised the nature of consciousness.  From that experience, his teachings and the practice of Buddhism unfolded throughout the world. Teachings of understanding and compassion point toward how we as humans, can live our lives to realise our deepest potential.

Through presentation and discussion the course introduces the Buddha, his teachings and the community of followers who practice.  We will explore how and why these three jewels are relevant to us today.

All our courses are led by experienced meditators who are ordained Buddhists.
