Living with Awareness

“Awareness is revolutionary” Sangharakshita

In this course we’ll explore the Buddha’s teaching on the four foundations of mindfulness and why it is the defining quality of Buddhist practice.

More than a technique that can help us feel calmer, mindfulness is an active, intelligent awareness that can reveal the deeper harmony and higher truth of things.

Through short talks, meditation and discussion we’ll be exploring how our ability to bring awareness to our experience and actions, influences not just the present moment but actually what we end up making of our lives.

Based on the book 'Living with Awareness' by Sangharakshita, available in the bookshop as background reading.
