The Buddha’s Four Noble Truths

In his first teaching,  the Buddha taught about difficulties that we face because of our human predicament.  Difficulties which we all experience — anxiety, stress, disappointments, dissatisfaction, loss, frustration, anger — the list is endless.

The Buddha taught that this “ill-being” comes about because of causes and conditions: how we see the world and how we lead our lives.

Because there is “ill-being”, there is also “well-being”.   The Buddha taught that our well-being also comes about because of causes and conditions : how we see the world and how we lead our lives.

In this four week course, we will explore the meaning of these teachings, and discuss how we might apply them to our life -  reducing our ill-being and growing our well-being.

Lead by Satyanathin and team.
